Okay let’s be honest, we all have a late night craving sometimes. I have noticed a change in my late night snack as I got older, and now I crave a little something sweet before bed. I am a firm believer of eating intuitively and if I am craving a late night snack I try to go for something that won’t be to harsh on my body that can really hit the sweet spot for me.
I call this one the yogi-yogurt bowl
What does this simple bowl consist of ??

- Base (Greek yogurt/cottage cheese/vegan yogurt /Kefir)
- Fruit (grapes and bananas are my go to!)
- Mixed nuts! (A simple trail mix, or just plain almonds/cashews work)
- Honey/maple syrup/agave (just a splash)
- Cinnamon
- Dark chocolate (white chocolate/milk chocolate ??)
- Peanut butter (my one and only)
I start with about 2 spoonfuls of yogurt. It’s a late snack I don’t need much !
I like to chop up one quick banana and about a hand full of grapes.
I top with my fruit/nut mix/dark chocolate chips .
Drizzle a little honey !
Dash of cinnamon.
About 1 tbs of peanut butter
And wha la.
You have the yogi yogurt bowl that’s great after an evening workout or if you had dinner and feel a little craving coming along. Simple but always hits the sweet spot.
The idea is that you’re not going for the candy bar! Or the bag of chips. But you can enjoy something clean and still feel satisfied with real ingredients. I hope you enjoy this bowl as much as I do!
